Terms of business

How paying, changes, ownership and leaving work when I build or look after your website. If anything here is unclear, ring or email hello@aheadofmonday.co.uk before you book.

01Who you are dealing with

Family-run, North West London. Ahead of Monday is a trading name of Workright.AI Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17362711, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. These terms apply to every quote I send unless we agree something different in writing.

02Prices

Prices are as shown on this site and on your written quote. If VAT applies, it is shown on the quote. The quote is what you pay; anything extra is agreed with you before I do it.

03Paying

  • Half of the build price to start. I start work once it is paid.
  • The rest is due once you have seen the site working and told me in writing that you are happy. It goes live on your domain after that payment.
  • Every site includes looking after it: hosting, backups and small changes, £45 a month. Monthly services are paid by Direct Debit or card, from the month the site goes live.

04If a payment is missed

I will remind you. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, I pause the monthly work, such as changes and social posts, until it is sorted. I will not take your website down for a missed monthly payment.

05What I need from you

  • Your photos, logo, prices and the details of what you do.
  • Answers to questions within a reasonable time, so the job does not stall.
  • Permission to use everything you send me. Photos must be your own work or ones you have the right to use.

Timescales start once I have what I need. I give you a date once we have talked it through.

06Changes

Two rounds of changes during the build are included, as long as they fit what was agreed. If you want something new, such as more pages or online booking, I price it first and only do it if you say yes.

On a monthly plan, small changes are included: new prices, photos, opening hours, a line of text. Bigger work is priced first.

07Ownership

  • Your domain is registered in your name from the start.
  • Once you have paid in full, the website and everything on it are yours.
  • Your Google listing, booking system and social accounts are in your name. I am added as a manager while I look after them.

I may show your site in my portfolio and on this website. If you would rather I did not, tell me and I will take it down.

08Ending monthly services

  • Looking after it: 30 days’ notice, at any time.
  • Social media support: a 3-month minimum, then 30 days’ notice.

When you leave, I send you a handover pack free of charge: the site files, your content, and a list of every account and whose name it is in. If I host your site, I keep it live for up to 30 days while you move it.

09Cancelling a build

If you cancel before I start, I refund the first half. After I have started, the first half covers the work done. If you cancel after sign-off, the balance is still due.

10Social media, video and reviews

You send us the photos and footage we need. Posts are planned and approved once a month as a batch, with one round of changes per batch. Inbox help means checking once each weekday and replying to simple messages within one working day. Social media content is limited to business-related content. We do not provide posts created specifically around holidays, awareness days, commemorations, cultural or religious occasions, political or social campaigns, or personal celebrations.

Customer review videos only ever feature your real customers, filmed with their written permission. Anyone appearing on camera signs a consent form first.

11Other services

Some things run on other companies’ services, such as Google, booking systems, WhatsApp and payment providers. I set them up properly, but I am not responsible for their outages, fees or changes to how they work.

12What I cannot promise

I build sites properly for Google, but nobody can guarantee where a site ranks or how many enquiries it brings.

If something goes wrong because of my work, I will fix it. My total responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid me in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits anything the law does not allow to be limited.

13The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we disagree, ring me first. Most things are sorted in one phone call.
